The UN takes advantage of the truce to bring aid to northern Gaza and clean shelters

The UN reiterated its concern about children who are separated from their parents at these checkpoints and forced to walk alone towards the south, noting that it is urgent to create protective equipment and respond to their specific needs.

On Saturday, the UN recalled, Hamas freed 17 hostages (13 Israelis, one of them a Portuguese-Israeli, and four Thais), while Israel released 39 detainees from its prisons (six women and 33 children).

Additionally, 15 injured and sick people, along with family members and medical personnel, left Gaza for Egypt.
