David Kozak, a 24-year-old student at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the University of Prague, was identified by Czech authorities as the perpetrator of the massacre carried out in the center of the Czech capital on Thursday afternoon.
According to local press, the gunman opened fire with a high-barreled shotgun from the fourth floor of the university building, killing at least 14 people and wounding 25.
But before the shooting, police received an alert about a death in the town of Kladno, a small town 25 kilometers northwest of Pagra, in the Central Bohemia region, where the young man lives, and concluded that it was a cause of death went. the suspect’s father, who allegedly killed his father, who was the legal owner of several weapons.
