An explosion was reported Tuesday near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, India. Indian authorities are now investigating.
According to Reuters, citing government sources, no injuries were reported. “We can confirm that an explosion occurred near the embassy around 5:20 a.m.,” Guy Nir, spokesman for the Israeli embassy, also told Reuters.
The Israeli Foreign Minister confirmed that all employees left the premises unharmed and that an investigation is currently underway by Indian authorities, with the cooperation of Israel.
