In a statement, the Spanish airline detailed that, in the last quarter of this year, it will operate at 95% of its capacity and that, in the first quarter of 2023, it will register a growth of 105%, which, in the entire season of winter, “it will translate into an offer that already corresponds to the network of flights and frequencies that it offered before the pandemic.”
Iberia highlights that it has already restored its entire network of flights and destinations in Latin America, it is growing in the United States, as broken for Dallas, and it will have a greater implantation in several broken of its network of short and middle course in Spain and in Europe.
In detail, he assured that, in Spain, the short and medium haul network will already have a greater capacity than in the winter of 2019, increasing its presence both in destinations with more business traffic and in holiday destinations.

Between Madrid and Barcelona it will offer up to 86 weekly flights, with up to 15 daily flights in each direction, with Wednesday being the day with the most operations. In Mexico, Iberia says that it is also growing and adds that it will be the market with the greatest offer, with three daily flights, together with Bogotá -which goes from 10 to 14 weekly frequencies- and Buenos Aires, where the company consolidates the two daily flights. flights this season.
This winter, Iberia will have a total of 260 weekly flights – most of them daily – connecting Europe with 18 destinations in 16 Latin American countries.
Regarding the US, the company indicated that it continues to gain prominence in its network and, in the coming winter months, it increased its capacity compared to 2019.
According to the company, an offer of 589,000 seats is planned, which represents an increase of 15% compared to 2019, and about 2,000 flights, 21% more than in the pre-pandemic winter.
Iberia will maintain the route to Dallas, in the United States, throughout the year and, in December, it will move to Terminal 8 at JFK airport, in New York.
In Europe, the growth in Italy (Rome and Milan), France (Paris), Switzerland (Geneva) and Portugal stands out, where the route to Funchal will operate throughout the winter, he concluded.
