French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated the victory of the President-elect of the Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, on the social network Twitter, which he considers “a new page in the history of Brazil.”

The candidate of the Workers’ Party (PT, left), Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, was elected president of Brazil today, with 50.83% of the votes, defeating Jair Bolsonaro (extreme right), who obtained 49, 17%, when 98.81% of the polling stations were counted.
