A Russian missile fell on Moldovan territory on Monday after being shot down by the Ukrainian air force, the Moldovan government announced, but no fatalities were reported.
Moldova’s Interior Minister confirmed that the missile hit the town of Naslavcea, near the border with Ukraine, destroying the windows of several houses.
