Six ships loaded with grain departed from Ukrainian ports bound for Turkey. The Turkish Defense Ministry confirmed that the freighters left the ports this morning, but did not reveal the origin of the shipments.

The Ukrainian head of state praised the “active participation” and “strong support” of the Turkish president for the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
For his part, Erdogan expressed his satisfaction at having managed to restore the agreement with Russia, since he considers that Ukrainian wheat and Russian fertilizers are supplies of vital importance for the whole world, especially for the most disadvantaged regions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that he will suspend Ukraine’s grain export deal again if kyiv violates written guarantees not to use the humanitarian corridor and Ukrainian ports for military purposes.
