Four rescuers have died and five others have been injured in the last 24 hours in Israeli attacks in several towns in southern Lebanon, the Ministry of Health reported this Monday, October 21. Local authorities also report three damaged ambulances.
The four rescuers belong to organizations affiliated with the pro-Iran Hezbollah movement, the target of Israeli bombings in Lebanon for several weeks, or its ally Amal, the other major Lebanese Shiite party.
Another Israeli attack kills six people, including a child
The four victims died “in the last 24 hours in attacks by the Israeli enemy against rescue teams,” according to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
The latter also indicated that an Israeli attack on Baalbeck, eastern Lebanon, had killed six people, including a child. According to the Lebanese national news agency ANI, the victims of the “drone attack” were members of the same family.
The Jewish State has been bombing Lebanon daily for almost a month. This Sunday, October 20, the IDF carried out attacks against a financial organization linked to Hezbollah. The Israeli army also continues its operations in the Gaza Strip, particularly in Jabalia, north of the Palestinian enclave.
