Russia reported on Tuesday, November 26, that it had been the target in recent days of two new Ukrainian attacks carried out with American ATACMS missiles, a weapon against which Moscow has promised a severe response.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian forces attacked “facilities” in the Russian border region of Kursk on November 23 and 25. He acknowledged, unusually, that several missiles “hit their targets” and reported two Russian soldiers injured and a radar damaged in these shots.
The Russian Defense Ministry said it was preparing a “response” to recent Ukrainian attacks using US ATACMS missiles against its territory, after President Vladimir Putin warned last week that he was not ruling out attacking the West.
“The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is monitoring the situation and preparing a response,” it said in a statement.
