After spending most of the money received for shooting the film, he returned to Charles de Gaulle airport a few weeks ago, the same source added. He had several thousand euros with him.
Mehran Karimi Nasseri was known as “Sir Alfred”.
Born in 1945, in Masjed Soleiman, in the Iranian province of Khuzestan, he chose to live in Roissy, north of Paris, in November 1988, after a long journey in search of his mother, who took him to London, Berlin and Amsterdam brought. He was deported from all destinations by the authorities for lack of documentation.
In 1999 he obtained refugee status in France and a residence permit.
