At least three people died on Thursday afternoon in the autumn of the cabin of a cable car in the Naples region, in southern Italy, said the local town hall.
Another person is seriously injured and another is missing, according to Mountain’s emergency services and firefighters.
14 dead in an accident in 2021
16 passengers were rescued to get out of a cabin immobilized in the foot of the mountain. They were evacuated one by one using harnesses, as shown by the images of Italian public television.
