Jeffrey Epstein’s leading plaintiff, American Financial Affair, accused of sexual exploitation of minors, Virginia Giuffre committed suicide at home in Australia at the age of 41, his family announced this Saturday, April 26.
Virginia Guffre had accused the American billionaire, who committed suicide in detention in New York in 2019, having used it as a “sex slave” in the early 2000s.
The American-Australian had completed in 2022 a several million dollars with Prince Andrew, brother of King Carlos III of England, whom he accused of sexual assault when he was a minor in this case.
A family that has “broken the heart”
“It is with a broken heart that we announce that Virginia died last night in her farm in Western Australia,” the family said in a statement transmitted to the AFP by her agent.
“He committed suicide after having suffered sexual assault through her life and sex trafficking,” of which she was the victim.
“There are no words that can express the loss would be that we feel today with the death of our sweet Virginia,” said the family, remembering their “incredible courage and their love spirit.”
“In the end (…) it became unbearable that Virginia endured the weight of the attacks,” he suffered.
Emergency services intervened after being alerted Friday night in Australia that a woman had been found inert in a house north of Perth. “Unfortunately, the 41 -year -old woman who died on the spot was declared,” the police who do not confirm identities in a statement.
Virginia Giuffre had published images in March showing her wounds and hospitalized after a car accident in Western Australia, saying that she only has a few days to live.
Ghislaine Maxwell bait at the age of 16
Police said there had been a “minor accident” between a school bus and another vehicle. His agent later said that Virginia Giuffre had not realized that his messages had become public.
Born in Virginia Roberts, it was the main voice of victims of sexual crimes committed by the American financial and friend of Prince Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein. According to Virginia Giuffre, her meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, then Jeffrey Epstein’s partner, took place in the summer of 2000, at the age of 16, during a summer work at the Mar-A-Lago residence, owned by Donald Trump in Florida.
Ghislaine Maxwell, sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 in New York, would have caused him talking to him about a rich man looking for a masseuse. But once in the residence of Jeffrey Epstein, still in Florida, the massages had taken a sexual turn.
In a story similar to other victims, Virginia Giuffre had explained that she was too fragile to oppose, that she had already been a victim of sexual assault and had escaped several times in her childhood. She had initiated the prosecution in 2021 against Prince Andrew, she met through Jeffrey Epstein, whom she accused of sexual assault when she was a minor.
At the origin of Prince Andrew’s misfortune
Andrew has always denied the positions of sexual assault and has avoided New York’s trial by paying several million dollars. As part of this agreement with Virginia Giuffre in 2022, he would have paid money to a charitable organization for victims of sexual exploitation, according to the British media. However, the accusations of Virginia Guffre had precipitated the prince’s misfortune, withdrawn from public life.
Virginia Giuffre lived in Australia, where he had founded a family, as well as an association to support the words of victims of sexual aggression and traffic (“speak, act, claim”). Virginia Giuffre leaves three children, Christian, Noah and Emily, said her family.
His lawyer, Sigrid McCawley, for whom Virginia Giuffre had been a “very expensive friend”, emphasized that he had helped defend other victims in this case. “His courage pushed me to fight stronger, and his strength was impressive.”
New York Agent Dini von Mueffling described his client as “one of the most extraordinary human beings” he has met. “Deeply loving, wise and fun, it was a lighthouse for other survivors and victims,” he said.
