The new Greenland prime minister said on Sunday, April 27 that this vast Arctic Island would never be a “property” for sale, considering that US comments are disrespectful in an annexation of this Danish autonomous territory.
“We will never be, for the great, a property that anyone can buy and it is the message that seems to me to be the most important thing to understand,” said Jens-Friederik Nielsen to the press.
He stopped with the Danish prime minister, Put Frederiksen, during his first visit to Denmark since he assumed the position on March 28.
