Israel promised an answer against the hutis in Yemen, after the launch, for this rebel group, of a missile at Ben-Gourion airport in Tel Aviv on Sunday, May 5. “Hutis attacks emanate from Iran. Israel will respond to (this) Houthis (…) and time and place to a place to a place of us, to their Iranian teachers,” said Houthis Buyanhaeli, the networks of Buyanhui networks, “said Iranian’s prime minister,” Israel said of the Buyanhaeli networks Benania Sunday night.
“We act against (the hutis) in the past and we will act in the future (…). It will not happen in a single boom, but there will be many children,” he added.
A crater near the main airport
“It’s the first time” that a missile has hired directly within the airport perimeter, an Israeli military spokesman said to AFP.
The attack was claimed by the Hutis rebels in Yemen. The Israeli army, in addition, has confirmed that the impact, which caused a crater just a few hundred meters from the main terminal, had been caused by the Yemen missile.
The Hutis declared, through their military spokesman, Yayha Sari, who would continue to attack “Israeli airports and, in particular, that of LOD, called Ben Gourion.”
Given this statement, several airlines have decided to take action. Lufthansa, Air India and Air France suspended their flights to Tel Aviv until May 6 and British Airways until May 7.
The hutis say they act “in response to the decision (Israeli) to extend their aggressive operations to Gaza.” This Pro-Iraní group regularly sends missiles about Israel, on behalf of the defense of the Palestinians of Gaza.
A dozen US attacks in retaliation
The reprisals of the United States against the Hutis, after the airport is triggered, were not long to arrive. According to the rebel group, a dozen attacks attributed to the Americans attacked the Sanaa capital and the surroundings, very early on Monday.
Strikes have also been carried out in the regions of Marib (center), Saadah, Bastion of Houthis and Jaouf, in northern Yemen, according to the same source, attributing them to the US forces.
Since the entrance according to Donald Trump in January 2025, the attacks against the hutis rebels have intensified. During the last month, they were almost daily.
