The British Prime Minister’s house, Keir Starmer, was hit by a fire on Monday, May 12, reports BBC and several other British media.
The events occurred in the middle of northern London. The property entry was damaged, but no one was injured, said the Metropolitan Police. Firefighters dominated this “little fire” in about twenty minutes.
A security cord was installed in front of Kentish Town’s house. In total, a dozen firefighters and two trucks from the barracks in the city of Kentish intervened in the scene.
An investigation in which the anti -terrorist police work
The prime minister who lives in the official Downing Street residence is, according to the British media, still owner of the house rented.
“Keir Starmer thanked emergency services for his work,” said his official spokesman. The latter added that the case was “subject to an investigation in the law.”
“The fire is the subject of an investigation,” said the police, added that the anti -terrorist cell worked on it. Police and firefighters were seen outside the property on Monday. Part of the street was also prohibited for vehicles for a while.
The house was attacked last year by Pro-Palestinian protesters. Three people were declared guilty of public disorders.
