Dozens of firefighters interventions
Milan Civil Protection Advisor Marco Granelli described the “strong and intense” bad weather in words reported to Milano Corriere. The Milanese authorities also carried out evacuations, particularly around the Lambro Park. The Lambro River “continues to rise,” according to the city of Lombard.
Italian firefighters carried out dozens of interventions “to drain and help motorists in difficulty”, especially in Manzano in the northeast of the country, near Slovenia. At the moment, no victim has been identified. Another affected city, Cividale, where the underground rooms of the hospital have been flooded.
France has also been affected by this degradation that brought instability there. An electric storm caused hail accumulations between Saint-Martin-Vesubie and Grasse, in the Alps-Maritimes. When this storm passed, the temperature fell from 10 to 12 degrees.
