Iran summoned the French officer in Tehran to protest against the “insulting” comments of Paris, after the consecration at the Cannes dissident filmmaker Festival, Jafar Panahi, reported on Sunday, May 25.
“After the insulting comments and the unfounded complaints of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs against Iran, the project manager in Tehran was summoned to the Ministry,” said Irna’s official agency.
In a message about X linked to La Palma de Oro, the head of French diplomacy, Jean-Noël Barrot, had criticized “the oppression of the Iranian regime.”
