Gaza: Two collaborators of the International Red Cross Committee killed in a strike at home

The two men were killed by a strike at their home in Khan Younès in the south of the Palestinian territory this Saturday, May 24.

Two employees of the International Red Cross Committee were killed this Saturday, May 24, during a strike at their home in Khan Younès in the Gaza Strip, said the ICRC this Sunday on the social network X.

“We are devastated by the death of two beloved colleagues, Ibrahim Eid and Ahmad Abu Hilal. Today, once again, we repeat our urgent attraction for the respect and protection of civilians in Gaza,” writes the organization.

“Ibrahim worked as a specialist in pollution of ammunition and Ahmas was a security guard at the Rafah Cross-Red Cross hospital,” said the ICRC message.

The two men were killed by a strike at their home in Khan Younès in the south of the Palestinian territory. “His murder highlights the intolerable number of civil deaths in Gaza,” writes the ICRC.
