The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, reacts this Sunday, June 1 to the degradations of the places frequented by the Jewish community, which was attacked on Saturday in Paris, stating that it is the “direct result of the tracking incentive against the Jews in France.”
“The attacks against the synagogues and a commemorative monument of the Holocaust in Paris are the direct result of the growing incentive against the Jews in France,” said the head of the Israeli government in X.
“President Macron should stop encouraging the creation of a terrorist Palestinian state in the heart of the Jewish country and start acting against anti -Semitism in his own country,” he calls.
Five directed places
Five establishments frequented by the Jewish community were attacked by jets of painting in the fourth and 20 districts of the capital, at night. It is the memorial shoah, three synagogues and a restaurant.
Painting airplanes are not accompanied for any reason or registration, BFMTV learned from the police source. A pot of green paint began in front of one of these places.
The video surveillance images show, around 4:30 am, a few minutes before the police, a man dressed in black launch paint, in the fourth district. This person is still sought this Sunday.
The Israeli President “dismayed”
These degradations were firmly condemned in Paris and France. The mayor of PS of Paris Anne Hidalgo condemned “this intimidation with the greatest force”, remembering that “anti -Semitism does not take place in our city and in our Republic.”
The president of the Council Representative of Jewish institutions in France (CRIF), Yonathan Arfi, told AFP that he felt “much sadness and outrage.”
In Israel, President Isaac Herzog said he was “dismayed by the attack on Jewish institutions” in Paris, emphasizing that his great -grandfather was the first rabbi of one of the interested synagogues, according to a statement from his office. “I call the French authorities to act quickly and firmly to translate the authors into justice and defend the Jewish community against hatred and attacks of all kinds,” he added.
