The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced this Sunday, June 1 that a Ukrainian delegation, directed by his Minister of Defense Roustem Oumerov, would be in Istanbul on Monday, June 2 for the expected conversations with Russia.
“I also defined our positions before Monday’s meeting in Istanbul,” he wrote on social networks, and added that the delegation would be directed by Roustem Oumerov, as was the case of the first cycle of negotiations in May.
The priorities of Ukraine are to obtain “a high full and unconditional fire”, as well as the “return of the prisoners” and the Ukrainian children that kyiv accuses Moscow of having kidnapped, he added.
