They went out with cortisone bites. Two regional police officers in Catalonia, the Mossos d’Esquadra, paid the anger price of a beekeeper, says the segre of the local newspaper.
The events took place this Friday, June 6 in Nationale II, in the city of Cervera. A 70 -year -old beekeeper was arrested by two police officers because he did not wear the seat belt. “It should have crushed you,” the driver told the police.
Police asked him to undergo a first blood alcohol test, whose result revealed 0.38 mg of alcohol per liter of blood. But when they wanted to make a second, the man began to threaten. “I’m going to kill you,” he said.
The arrested man
Then he moved to the back of his vehicle, opened the door and released his bees. The latter have bitten the agents several times before they manage to take refuge in a near restaurant.
Other police arrived with reinforcement and the man was arrested. He was finally released on bail after being audicited. For their part, police officers received cortisone injections.
The newspaper recalls that several hundred police officers had met in early May to denounce the increase in attacks on those who are subject and require more protection.
