Denouncing a “war crime,” Iran accused Israel on Monday, June 16, attacking a hospital in the west of the country. “The Farabi Hospital, located in the city of Kermanshah, in western Iran, was attacked by the aggressive attacks of the Israeli regime,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaïl Baghaï.
“Taking hospitals, in addition to attacks in residential areas, is a shameless violation of international law and a war crime,” he added.
Iranian media previously reported an Israeli attack aimed at a nearby workshop that caused significant damage to the hospital. On Sunday, the Israeli army also hit the Machhad airport, the third city of Iran, located in the northeast of about 2,300 kilometers from Israel.
