The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, called on Friday, June 20 to the war between Iran and Israel, and the “potential parties”, to give “an opportunity for peace.”
“There are times when the options that arise for us are not only important, are decisive. The moments in which the management taken will not only determine the destiny of the nations but also our collective future. We are at that time,” he said during a meeting of the Security Council.
“For the parties to the conflict, the possible parts of the conflict and the Security Council that represents the international community, I have a simple and clear message: give peace a chance,” he said at a meeting of the Security Council.
These statements come when Europeans must appear in the next few hours to Iran, during a meeting in Switzerland, a “full negotiation offer”, especially in nuclear.
For his part, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, gave himself “two weeks” to decide a possible US military intervention together with Israel.

Antonio Guterres has alarmed the climb of war between Iran and Israel. “We are not pushed towards the crisis, we hurry it. We are not witnessing isolated incidents, we are on the path of chaos potential,” he warned.
“The expansion of this conflict could set fire to the dust without anyone being able to maintain control. We cannot let this happen,” he added, once again demanding “the end of the struggle and the return to serious negotiations.”
