A Russian soldier, deployed in Ukraine, has eaten one of his comrades, according to Ukraine’s intelligence services. This Friday, June 20, the Ukrainian information transmitted an audio recording that they say they have intercepted, in which the facts are reported, as identified by our colleagues from The Independent.
In this recording, it is explained that a Russian soldier named “Bélok” killed and then ate another soldier called “Foma.” Both operated in eastern Ukraine.
“Boulk ate Foma. No one fled. Brelok killed him, then ate it for two weeks,” he heard in the recording, translated and shared in X by the secret services of Ukraine.
Several released Russian prisoners
According to the same source, this “Baselok” was found dead.
Russia has repeatedly released prisoners to decorate their ranks as part of the war in Ukraine. Among them, Dmitri Malshev, a man sentenced to 25 years in prison for having killed and eaten the heart of a migrant tadjik. He had joined the front in 2023.
