Bomardero B-2 aircraft took off from a base in the United States and headed west, above the Pacific, when President Donald Trump suspends military intervention against Iran, the New York Times report and flight tracking sites this Saturday, June 21.
These stealthy strategic bombers, only capable of transporting powerful GBU-57 type anti-bum bombs, took off the Whiteman Air Force database in the Missouri (center) and were seen in California, accompanied by supply aircraft, according to these sources.
The fate of these planes was not known, but, according to the New York Times, they would go to Guam Island, in the Pacific. Questioned by AFP, the Pentagon referred to the White House, which did not respond immediately.
“A maximum of two weeks”
The US president, who said that Iran could not have a nuclear weapon, returns to the White House on Saturday afternoon to preside over a new security council.
“Maximum two weeks” was delivered before making a decision on a possible American participation in the Israeli offensive in progress against Iran.
Experts agree that only the United States has the ability to destroy Iranian nuclear facilities deeply buried, even in Fordo, south of Tehran.
GBU-57, a 13-tons eye, is able to sink dozens of meters deep before exploiting.
