The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, called on Tuesday, June 24, Iran and Israel to respect “completely” the fire announced by Donald Trump, in a message published in X.
“I greet the announcement of President Trump of a high fire between Israel and Iran. I call the two countries to respect it completely. Fights must stop,” he said, hoping that this high fire can be “reproduced for other conflicts in the region,” in particular in reference to Gaza.
A fragile fire entered into force on Tuesday between Iran and Israel, after a war of twelve days and American air attacks against the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic.
