Benjamin Netanyahu, prosecuted for corruption in a long -term trial, asked on Thursday the postponement of his next hearings, his lawyer discussed “developments in the region and the world”, after the war with Iran and with the continuation of the conflict in Gaza.
“Together with the launch of our hostages and victory over Hamas, a window of opportunity has been opened: we should not let it go. We should not lose a single day,” says Benjamin Netanyahu in this video.
Before the war in Gaza, launched on October 7, 2023 for the attack on the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in Israel, Saudi Arabia had begun discussions with Washington, including the normalization project with Israel, in exchange for a security and support agreement for its civil nuclear program.
But from this approach, he has conditioned the establishment of a Palestinian State, rejected by Israel, who moved away from an agreement in the current context.
