A court partially accepted on Sunday, June 29, the request of the Israeli Prime Minister to postpone his hearings in his judgment for corruption, according to a judicial document, published by Likoud, the Benjamin Netanyahu party.
“After the explanations given, (…) we partially accept the application and cancellation at this stage in the days of Benjamin Netanyahu hearings for June 30 and July 2,” said the document of the Jerusalem Court, which had previously rejected the request of the Israeli Prime Minister.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s lawyer requested the postponement of the hearings on Thursday, June 26 to resume next week invoking “developments in the region and the world”, after the war with Iran and with the continuation of the conflict in Gaza.
Trump says he will not “tolerate” the continuation of the trial
The prime minister is “forced to dedicate all his time and energy to the management of national, diplomatic and security problems of the greatest importance,” Amit Hadad wrote in a request to the courts.
The Head of Military Intelligence Services and the head of Mossad were interviewed Sunday morning by the court at the request of Benjamin Netanyahu.
