Gaza: Paris, London and Berlin “probably” will send their leaders of diplomacy to Israel

The German Chancellor Friederich Merz, who made this statement, had already indicated on Monday that his chief of diplomacy, Johann Wadephul, had to go to the region to advance the negotiations on a high fire between Israel and Hamas.

Berlin, Paris and London “probably” will ask “Thursday” next week “their respective Foreign Affairs Ministers on Thursday to go to Israel, said Friedrich Merz on Tuesday, July 29, while international pressure rises to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

“We begin from the beginning that the Israeli government is quite willing to recognize that it is now necessary to act,” added the German Foreign Minister during a press conference in Berlin with King Abdallah II of Jordan.

The head of the German government, one of Israel’s most loyal supporters in the war against the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, had already indicated on Monday that his head of diplomacy, Johann Wadephul, was going to the region on Thursday to advance the negotiations in a high fire between Israel and Hamas.

The two A400M type machines “will be equipped and supplied” in Jordan “to be able to carry out their missions from the weekend no later than tomorrow,” added Friedrich Merz.

King Abdallah II added that, although he was grateful for these air drops initiatives, they only represented “water drop in the ocean.” He called to authorize more trucks that transport humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

France will also proceed “in the next few days to the aerial tears” of assistance in Gaza, BFMTV learned from diplomatic sources.

Israel have besieged about 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza since the beginning of the war launched by an attack against the movement of Palestinian Islamist Hamas on October 7, 2023 on Israeli soil.

On Tuesday, an international hunger surveillance organization supported by the UN said Tuesday that the “worst famine scenario is underway in Gaza.”
