Russia has launched more drones against Ukraine in July than in any other month since the beginning of the invasion in 2022, according to an AFP analysis that shows an intensification of the bombing despite the ultimatumes of Donald Trump.

Attacks every night
The AFP analysis, which is based on the figures provided by the Ukrainian authorities, shows that the Russian army withdrew 6,297 drones of long range against Ukraine in July, an increase in the third consecutive month and that constitutes an increase of 16% compared to June.

The lack of anti -avion defense systems
The escalation of Russian attacks using drones and missiles against the Ukrainian cities led to the largest number of civilians killed or injured in June, the UN said last month.
Ukraine has been demanding anti -aircraft systems for months of its European allies and hopes in particular to be able to buy modern patriotic batteries in the United States, which would be paid by Europeans.

On Thursday, the Russian Ministry of Defense said Tancsiv Iar, a small city of strategic importance in the Donetsk (East) region, even if Ukraine described this announcement as a “total lie.”
