It is a barely credible story. A fallen fish caused a fire in western Canada on July 31. Dunned by a complete flight, the fish hit an electric line, all causing a fire on the brush and an energy cut.
It was the British Columbia firefighters who told this very original story.
The incident occurred last Thursday near the municipality of Ashcroft when firefighters are called an outdoor fire.
“A quick investigation made it possible to determine the cause of this fire: a fish. Yes, you read well: a fish to which something incredible has happened!”, Divide into its Facebook page, the Ashcroft Firefighters service.
“Try grilled fish”
According to them, a fisherman, a kind of rapaz, would have taken over its prey in a 3 km river before leaving it on a complete flight in an electric line.
The fish contact with the electrical cables would have caused a spark and small embers that would have ignited the brush and dry herbs on the ground.
Another song, speculates firefighters, not without humor: the raptor “was fed up with raw fish and wanted to try grilled fish.” His photos actually show the dead fish on the ground, the body burned.
“Our main suspect has suffered any injury during the incident and still flies,” firefighters joked.
They are more welcome than the absence of wind last week has quickly controlled this completely unusual fire in western Canada, regularly, summer dam of important forest fires.
