The Israeli security cabinet approved on Thursday night, August 8, the Security Plan presented by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday night, August 8 to “defeat” Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a declaration of the offices of the Prime Minister.
According to this plan, the Israeli army “is preparing to take control of the city of Gaza while distributing humanitarian aid to the civilian population outside the combat areas,” said this press release.
“The security firm, by a majority of voting, adopted five principles to conclude the war: the disarmament of Hamas; the return of all hostages -liver and dead, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip; Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip; the establishment of an alternative civil administration that is neither hamas nor Palestinian authority,” adds the text.
“A decisive majority of the cabinet ministers also considered that an alternative plan” subject to the examination of the ministers “would not allow Hamas to defeat or recover the hostages,” the press release specifies, without giving other details.
