Ukraine drew dozens of drones in Russia on Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14, an attack that caused three injured and caused fires in two regions of the southern country, especially in an oil refinery, the Russian authorities announced.
“The attack caused a spill of oil products that caught fire in the Volgrad’s oil refinery,” said the governor of this region, Andrei Bocharov, in a statement on Telegram.
Another Ukrainian drone hit a car and wounded three people in the Belgorod region, said his governor, Viatcheslav Gladkov, who published a video that showed the car on flames and debris scattered on the street. “Emergency services are on the site,” he added in Telegram. Ukraine did not immediately comment on this attack.
Ripot of Russia
Since Russia launched its large -scale military offensive against Ukraine in February 2022, kyiv responded with drones strikes about Russian infrastructure located hundreds of kilometers from its border.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said it had intercepted 44 Ukrainian drones between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, including seven above Crimea, Peninsula attached by Russia in 2014.
