The first since 2019. Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin met in Anchorage in Alaska this Friday, August 15 for a historic summit, which could seal the destination of Ukraine.
A few minutes after Air Force One’s landing, Vladimir Putin’s plane also landed in the immense military base of Elmendorf-Richardson. Shortly after, the two leaders set their hands.
The two leaders in the same car
In the asphalt, the Russian president walked towards his American counterpart on a red carpet and the two leaders set their hands, Vladimir Putin slid some words to Donald Trump.
Shortly after, they exchanged a second handshake in front of a “Alaska 2025” podium before assembling both in the same car. This is your first meeting since 2019.
The White House indicated that the two leaders will not be in front, as initially planned, but each one will be accompanied by two advisors.
