Six human bosses were discovered on Tuesday, August 19 on a road that connects the states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, in central Mexico, announced the prosecution.
This discovery, unprecedented in this region of Mexico, was informed by motorists and then confirmed by the Tlaxcala prosecutor’s office, where the human remains were.
Another skull and human remains were also found in the city of Colima (West), police sources mentioned by local media said on Tuesday. The bosses found in Tlaxcala belong to six men, the Prosecutor’s Office said on social networks, an investigation was opened.
450,000 homicides since 2006
According to local media, a text found on the site claims a liquidation of accounts between rival bands specialized in gas robbery.
If the criminal strips operating in drugs and fuel traffic have been denounced in the states of Puebla and Tlaxcala, this region of Mexico has so far been exempt from this type of more frequent violence for more than ten years in the north and the Pacific coast of Mexico, where drug traffickers operate.
On June 30, on a road in Sinaloa (Northwest), 20 bodies were found, including five beheaded. Since the controversial launch of the war on drug trafficking in 2006, Mexico has registered more than 450,000 homicides and 100,000 disappearances, according to official figures.
