The Russian firefighters continued to fight on Saturday, August 30 against a fire, caused by the debris of Ukrainian drones earlier, near the “palace”, which would be owned by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the banks of the Black Sea.
The authorities of the Krasnodar region in southern Russia announced on Thursday that the fall of a drone had caused a fire in a “forest area” near the city of Gelndjik.
It is in this area where there is a luxurious residence nicknamed “El Palais de Putin”, with which the Russian president denies any link.
Putin denies being the owner
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Saturday that more than 400 firefighters continued to fight against the fire near Glendjik.
The videos, published on Friday by this source, show flames devouring trees, a soil covered with ashes and a helicopter that carries water.
There are no indications that the fire threatens directly with the “Putian Palace”, that Russian authorities have never mentioned in their various press releases.
Russian opponent Alexei Navalny, since he died in prison in circumstances with problems, had published in 2021 an investigation that accused Vladimir Putin of being the owner of this immense domain located in a tourist area at the edges of the Black Sea.
This sumptuous set, financed by corruption, would also have vineyards, an ice hockey speaker or a casino, according to this survey. Vladimir Putin has always denied being the owner.
Ukraine, who has been fighting since 2022 an assault on a Russian scale against his territory, defends himself by hitting Russia with drones. These attacks have changed the habits of Vladimir Putin, according to the Russian Site of Online Proekt.
Fearing for his safety, for example, he would have stopped going to the city of Sochi, now available to drones, said these means citing an anonymous source.
