Russia launched a great attack on Tuesday, September 2 to Wednesday, September 3 to Wednesday, September 3, with more than 500 drones and missiles mainly in western Ukraine, depriving thousands of electricity homes announced the Ukrainian authorities on Wednesday.
The AFP journalists in kyiv heard explosions above the capital and the crunch of air defense machine guns during this attack that coincided with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin in China.
In the Cheriguiv region (North), 30,000 people are deprived of electricity after the bombing of “civil infrastructure,” said Military Manager Viatcheslav Tchaus.
The Ukraine Air Force said Moscow had launched 502 drones and 24 missiles.
“Three missiles and 69 attack drones played 14 sites and the debris of the sacrificed projectiles fell into 14 places,” he added.
Regional officials from the west of the country have indicated that several people have been injured and that housing and civil infrastructure have been damaged.
A Russian manifestation
After this vast air attack, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin was showing his “impunity.”
“These strikes are clearly a Russian manifestation. Putin shows his impunity. And that undoubtedly requires a world response,” said the Ukrainian head of state, asking his allies to press Moscow’s “economy of war”, before speaking with the Baltic and Nordic countries in Denmark.
Moscow chases Ukraine almost quasi-quota with missiles and drones since he launched his large-scale invasion in February 2022, which causes the most fatal conflict in Europe since World War II.
