Caracas accuses the United States of extrajudicial executions after the death of 11 people suspected of drug trafficking

The tension increases between Caracas and Washington after the execution of 11 people in the Caribbean Sea, accused of Donald Trump’s drug trafficking.

The Venezuelan Minister of Interior, Diosdado Cabello, accused the United States on Wednesday, September 3, having committed extrajudicial executions by hitting a boat in the Caribbean that, according to Washington, transported drug traffickers.

“They murdered 11 people without going through justice. I ask if it is acceptable,” said Diosdado Cabello in his television program with El Mazo giving.

The United States said Tuesday that he had led a “directed strike” in the Caribbean Sea that killed “11 narcerthorist,” according to Donald Trump, alleged members of the Venezuelan Train of Aragua poster “who carry narcotics for the United States.” These details could not be verified independently by AFP.

Escalada between Washington and Caracas

“No suspicion of drug trafficking authorizes extrajudicial executions in the sea,” denounced the Venezuelan Minister of the Interior, considered as number two in power in Venezuela. “It is not clear, they have not explained anything, they pompously announce that they have murdered 11 people. It is very delicate. And the right to defense?” Hammed the minister.

This military action has marked a spectacular escalation since the signature of the US president of a decree authorizing the use of the army against drug cartels.

Washington accuses Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro, to direct a drug trafficking network and recently brought the bonus to $ 50 million for his arrest.

For its part, Maduro floats the threat of an American landing and says that Venezuela is ready for “armed struggle for the defense of the national territory”, although the United States has not publicly threatened to invade its country.
