From the Palais de l’Elellee through Volodymyr Zelensky, Emmanuel Macron announced this Thursday, September 4, that “26 countries have formally committed themselves to deploying, as reinsurance forces, troops in Ukraine or being present in the field, in the seas or in the air.” The forces that “will be deployed within the framework of a high fire” but not in the front line, warns the French president, after a voluntary coalition meeting.

The objective: “deter Russia from a new attack.” For this, Emmanuel Macron announced that there will be no “format or capacity limitation of the Ukrainian army.”

The French president said that “US support for these security guarantees will end in the next few days.”

“It is Russia that chooses to intensify this war,” observes the French president, deploreing “the will of permanent war” that Moscow shows while denouncing Russia’s “claims”.
