The Israeli army asked this Saturday, September 6, the inhabitants of Gaza-Ville on Saturday, September 6 to evacuate a “humanitarian zone” declared by Israel south of the Gaza Strip, in advance of an assault on the ground to come to the largest city in the Palestinian territory.
“From now on, and to facilitate the departure of the inhabitants of the city, we declare the area [côtière] Al-Mawasi [dans le sud de la bande de Gaza] As a humanitarian zone, “announces an Arabic message” to the inhabitants of the city of Gaza and all those who are there “published on social networks by Colonel Avihai Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army for the Arabic public.
“Take the opportunity to move around the humanitarian area without delay and join the thousands of people who have already gone there,” adds the text, while the UN estimates that about one million people present in the Gaza-Ville region and warns against an upcoming “disaster” in case of an expansion of the Israeli offensive in the city.
