The shots in a center of the Immigration Services Office (ICE) killed one and two injured this Wednesday, September 24 in Dallas, Texas.
“Two people injured by Bullet were transported to the hospital. A victim died on the spot. The suspect died,” police said in X.
According to the Secretary of Internal Security, Kristi Noem, the shooter returned the gun against him and committed suicide.
Outdoor prisoners?
The events occurred around 6:40 am this morning. The suspect has opened fire “from an attached building”, according to preliminary police investigation.
“Preliminary information indicates that he is a sniper,” said the interim director of the Immigration Police, Todd Lyons in CNN.
According to police sources in CNN, at least two victims are prisoners.
The shooter, a white man, was installed on a roof with a rifle, police sources said with the local Fox4 chain.
“Although we still do not know the mobile, we know that ICE agents face unprecedented violence towards them. This must stop,” Kristi Noem said in X.
