A confusing staging. The Israeli Prime Minister said Friday, September 26 that he had established speakers in the Gaza Strip so that, according to him, the hostages listen to his speech in the UN gallery.
“We have not forgotten you, even for a second. The people of Israel are with you. We will not rest until you get home,” he said in Hebrew and in English.
In a speech in an offensive tone and a remaining firm in his positions, the Israeli leader rejected on Friday the accusations of “genocide” in the Gaza Strip, during a summit organized by France and Saudi Arabia about the future of the solution of two states, Palestinians and Israeli.
“It’s not Kim Jong-un”
Parallel to this speech, the images revealed by the Israeli government show several trucks with speakers, sometimes stacked, placed so that their speech is heard in the Palestinian enclave, currently breathless.
In response, the opposition leader Yaïr Lapid denounced “a megalomic madness” of the prime minister. “This is a megalómana madness that does not take place in a democratic country,” said former Israel prime minister.
“For Netanyahu’s great regret, he is not Kim Jong-un, and the Israeli army does not need to spread the speeches of the leader by the speakers, endangering the soldiers on the ground,” he deplored the former Prime Minister of Israel.
The former head of the Israeli government described Benjamin Netanyahu as “an Israeli prime minister tired and Pleurnichard, in an overloaded speech of worn devices.”
Israel “wants to finish the job”
During his speech before the UN, the Israeli Prime Minister also attacked Western countries, including France, who recognized this week the state of Palestine. For the latter, the creation of a Palestinian State would be a “national suicide” for Israel. These countries have “renounced” Hamas, demonstrating that “it is worth killing the Jews,” he said.
His speech was initiated under the applause of his followers invited to the room and under the shouts of delegates left by the land of the UN General Assembly.
From now on, Israel “wants to finish the work” (…) “As quickly as possible” in a gaza band devastated for almost two years of war, said Benjamin Netanyahu.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech took place when peace hopes focus on a new level presented this week by Donald Trump to Arab and Muslim countries.
