NATO announced on Saturday night the strengthening of its “surveillance” and its media in the Baltic region, after the recent drones outstanding in Denmark. The leaders of the alliance “are in permanent contact with their Danish counterparts,” says NATO.
“We will strengthen our surveillance even more thanks to the new media,” said Martin O’Donnell, spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Allies in Europe, in a statement transmitted to the press.
Denmark victim of “hybrid” attacks
These media include intelligence, surveillance, recognition and “at least one air defense frigate,” he said. The unidentified drones flew on Friday night to the Danish military sites on Saturday, including the largest military base, after other flying this week.
On Thursday, the prime minister puts Frederiksen, said that Denmark had been the victim of “hybrid” attacks in recent days, referring to an unconventional form of war and had pointed out to Russia, a “threat to the security of Europe.” Moscow had “firmly” rejected any participation in Danish incidents on Thursday.
