Israeli defense minister, Israel Katz, launched this last warning to the residents of the city of Gaza on Wednesday, October 1 to flee to the south, under the penalty of being “considered terrorists.”
“This is the last chance for the inhabitants of Gaza who wish to move south and leave the terrorists of isolated Hamas in the city of Gaza,” said Israel Katz in a statement transmitted by the Israeli media while the Israeli army intensifies its operations.
“Those who stay in Gaza will be considered terrorists and supporters of terrorism,” he added.
The Red Cross suspends its operations
In addition, the Red Cross said Wednesday that it is “forced” to temporarily suspend its activities in Gaza-Ville due to the intensification of Israeli military operations, while warning that “tens of thousands of people” remained in the place at the point of “terrible humanitarian conditions.”
“The intensification of military operations in Gaza-Ville has forced the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to temporarily suspend its activities in its Gaza-Ville office and relocate its staff in its offices in southern Gaza Strip, to guarantee the safety of the equipment and the continuity of the operations,” he said in a statement.
