Donald Trump speaks in front of the Israeli Parliament after arriving on Israeli soil this Monday, October 13, to speak about the release of hostages in Gaza. During their speech, two Israeli deputies demanded recognition of Palestine before being evacuated.

An Israeli deputy was evacuated during Donald Trump’s speech before the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, this Monday, October 13. He had just briefly interrupted the American president’s speech by shouting.

“It was very effective,” the American president said, smiling as members of the Israeli Parliament chanted his name. The deputy evacuated by the security services is Ofer Cassif, 60, a member of Hadash, an alliance of radical left-wing political movements.

Another deputy from the same bloc, Ayman Odeh, was also expelled from the room, indicates Sky News. According to information from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the two deputies demanded the recognition of Palestine, brandishing signs that read “Recognize Palestine.”
