Ana Gomes recalls that the queen was “a great supporter of Portugal’s entry into the European Union” and says that it was recommended that there be no bidet in the bathrooms during that visit.
The British queen also drank a gin and tonic before meals and Ana Gomes recalls that it was necessary to have a certain brand of tonic water.
