At least 150 people were injured in the collision of two trains in the Catalonia region of Spain on Wednesday morning, the Civil Defense said.
It was at Montcada i Reixac station, on the outskirts of Barcelona, that the accident took place, authorities say.
There are 150 injured, three of whom have been transferred to health units, according to the civil defense note published on Twitter.

The accident occurred at 7:50 am (6:50 am in Lisbon) when a train bound for Barcelona collided with the last train of another train which was at the same station and also bound for the capital of Catalonia, Spain.

The affected trains were using the Renfe suburban line R4, which was closed due to the incident.
Lines R7 and R12 were also closed in both directions.
Renfe sources told the Spanish agency Efe that the circumstances that caused the accident are unknown for now.
