The overturning of a bus in the Canadian province of British Columbia caused at least four deaths and dozens of injuries, after snowfall and bad weather conditions, it was announced this Sunday.
The accident occurred on Highway 97C, which stretches 224 kilometers between Cache Creek and Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia’s third-largest metropolitan area, according to the CBC television network.
The incident, near Loon Lake, caused more than 50 injuries and forced the closure of that road in both directions.
Local authorities confirmed that at least eight people are hospitalized, including two in serious condition and two with moderate injuries.
