The year 2023 will be the year of “victory” in the war against Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his New Year greetings on Saturday.
“Is faith and hope missed? Both are in the Armed Forces [ucranianas] long ago. […] Missing light? It is in all of us, even when there is no electricity”, whose supply has been severely interrupted by Russian bombing, said the President of Ukraine, in his New Year message through the Telegram platform.
“Happy New Year! The year of our victory,” he added, at a time when 10 months have passed since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, calling on his compatriots to “work ” in the “struggle” and “mutual aid”.
In his New Year’s message, Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his part, claimed that “moral and historical correctness” was “on the side” of Russia.
