On January 24, the US administration accused Chinese public companies of aiding Russia militarily and financially, without detailing the nature and scope of this aid.
“Unfounded suspicions”
“Unfounded suspicions” and “unfounded blackmail”, according to Beijing, which accuses Washington of having “sowed paranoia”.
“If they really care about the Ukrainian people, they should stop their arms shipments,” he added.
This hardening of the tone occurs a few days before the visit of the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, scheduled in Beijing on Sunday and Monday.
